Yantra India Limited (YIL) has released a massive apprenticeship notification under Advertisement No. 1457 dated 30.01.2026 for engagement of Trade Apprentices (Ex-ITI & Non-ITI) for the 59th Batch. This recruitment is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 to promote the Skill India Mission of the Government of India.

A total of approximately 3,979 vacancies are available across Indian Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories located in multiple states of India.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

🔹 Age Limit (as on 03.03.2026)

  • Minimum Age:

    • 14 years (General trades)

    • 18 years (Hazardous trades)

  • Maximum Age: 35 years (for all categories)

🔹 Educational Qualification

✅ Non-ITI Candidates

  • Passed Class 10 (Madhyamik/Matriculation)

  • Minimum 50% marks overall

  • Minimum 40% marks each in Mathematics & Science

✅ Ex-ITI Candidates

  • Passed ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute

  • Minimum 50% marks in ITI

  • Must also have passed Class 10 with minimum 50% marks

❌ Candidates awaiting results or already holding National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) are NOT eligible.

🧾 Selection Process

  • Merit-based selection (No written exam)

  • Separate merit lists for:

    • Non-ITI candidates – based on Class 10 marks

    • Ex-ITI candidates – average of Class 10 & ITI marks

👉 In case of tie:

  1. Older candidate preferred

  2. Earlier year of passing Class 10

  3. Alphabetical order of name

Provisionally selected candidates will be called for:
