 Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and the second largest upstream Oil & Gas company in India, invites applications for contractual engagement of skilled personnel at Field Headquarters, Duliajan, Assam. These positions are open exclusively to domicile candidates of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and are purely temporary in nature.

The engagement involves working in shifts, performing arduous and hazardous jobs at remote OIL installations, and participating in on-call duties. Interested candidates must meet all eligibility criteria and attend the Walk-in for Personal Assessment as per the schedule below.

Reservation & PwBD Suitability

  • Reservation: As per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD.

Selection Process

  1. Walk-in for Personal Assessment – 100 marks

  2. Qualifying Marks: 50 marks (all categories)

Note: Registration is mandatory for assessment; no late registrations allowed.

Contract Duration

  • The contractual engagement is for 6 months or until completion of OCS Nadua & East Khagorijan Project, whichever is earlier.

  • The contract is purely temporary and does not confer any rights for regular employment in OIL.

  • Date of Birth Proof (Class 10 Certificate)

  • Educational Qualification Certificates & Mark Sheets

  • Electrical Workman’s Permit / Electrical Supervisory Certificate

  • Caste/Income/Disability/Ex-Servicemen Certificates (if applicable)

  • NOC from current employer (if employed)

General Conditions

  • Immediate joining required upon selection

  • Contract may be terminated with 15 days’ notice

  • No travel allowance for attending the assessment

  • Accommodation during the contract is self-arranged

  • Any candidate submitting false or misleading documents will be disqualified immediately

  • Selected candidates will undergo medical fitness check and police verification
