Educational Qualification
The educational qualification varies according to the post.
Junior Engineer Posts
Candidates applying for Junior Engineer positions must have either:
Full-time B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline, or

Experience Required
This is an experienced-candidate recruitment. The required post-qualification experience differs by post.
Junior Engineer candidates with B.E./B.Tech generally require at least 3 years of relevant experience, while candidates with an engineering diploma generally require 5 years of relevant experience.
For Technician posts, candidates generally require 3 years of relevant experience.
Office Assistant and Senior Office Assistant positions require 5 years of relevant experience. The MTS cum Motor Driver position also requires 5 years of experience involving multitasking and driving official vehicles.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed pay-scale or CTC conditions depending upon whether they are working in Metro Rail/Railway PSUs/PSUs, Railways/Government Organizations, or Metro-related infrastructure industries.

MAHA Metro Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates will receive the applicable IDA pay scale according to the post.
The salary ranges from:
₹14,000 – ₹40,000 for Attendant
₹16,000 – ₹50,000 for MTS cum Motor Driver
₹20,000 – ₹60,000 for Technician
₹25,000 – ₹80,000 for Office Assistant

Selection Process
The MAHA Metro recruitment selection process consists of the following stages:

The written test may be conducted in online or offline mode.
The written examination will carry 70 marks and may include General Aptitude and Domain Knowledge.
Candidates qualifying in the written test as per the merit list will be called for an interview carrying 30 marks. The interview may assess experience, educational qualification and domain knowledge.
For MTS/Attendant positions, an Oral Aptitude Test may be conducted instead of an interview.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the prescribed selection process. Selected candidates will subsequently undergo medical fitness examination.
