Essential Qualification MBMC Junior Engineer, Fireman and Other Recruitment

  • Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) – B.E./B.Tech in respective discipline.
  • Clerk Typist – Any graduate with typing certificate (Marathi 30 WPM, English 40 WPM).
  • Fireman – 10th Pass + Fireman Training Certificate.
  • Driver-Operator – 10th Pass + Fireman Training + Heavy Vehicle License + 3 years’ experience.
  • Assistant Fire Station Officer – Graduation + Sub-Officer Course (NFSC Nagpur).
  • Pharmacist – 12th (Science) + B.Pharm + Registration with Maharashtra Pharmacy Council.
  • Staff Nurse (GNM) – 12th + GNM Diploma + Registration with Maharashtra Nursing Council.
  • Programmer/Software JE – B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science + 3 years’ experience.
  • Accountant – B.Com + 5 years’ experience.
  • Librarian – B.Lib + 3 years’ experience.
  • Fitter,Plumber,Electrician,Pump Operator - 10th Pass and ITI.

MBMC Junior Engineer, Fireman and Other Recruitment Age Limit

General Category: 18 to 38 years

Reserved Category: 18 to 43 years

Specific Age Limits:

  • Fireman & Driver-Operator: Max 30 years
  • Assistant Fire Station Officer: Max 40 years

Age Relaxation: Applicable for PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and other reserved categories as per government rules.

Selection Process MBMC Junior Engineer, Fireman and Other Recruitment

The selection process will be conducted in the following stages:

  1. Online Computer-Based Examination
    • Technical & General Posts: 200 Marks
    • Fire Service Posts: 100 Marks
    • Clerk & Teacher Posts: 200 Marks
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (For Fireman & Driver-Operator) – 100 Marks
  3. Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates must provide original documents.
  4. No Interview – Final selection is purely based on exam & PET performance.
