The online registration process has started from 18th August 2025 onwards at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

Essential Qualification IRCTC Apprentice Recruitment

Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) with a minimum of 50% marks. Additional qualifications required are:

  • For COPA: Matriculation + ITI certificate in COPA trade affiliated to NCVT/SCVT.
  • For Graduate Posts (Executive/HR): Graduation in the relevant discipline (as specified in the notification).

IRCTC Apprentice Recruitment Age Limit (as on 18/08/2025)

15 to 25 years (Relaxation to SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs, Ex-Service Man- 10 yrs., PwBD-10 yrs)

Salary details IRCTC Apprentice Recruitment

  • School pass-out (10th): Rs. 6000/- per month
  • National or State Certificate (ITI) holder: Rs. 7700/- per month
  • Graduate Apprentice or Degree holder: Rs. 9000/- per month

Selection Process IRCTC Apprentice Recruitment

RCTC has set the selection procedure for the engagement of Apprentices. Candidates will be selected based purely on the merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in the matriculation (10th) examination.

  • There will be no written test or interview.
  • In case of a tie in marks, the candidate older in age will be preferred.
  • Final selection is subject to verification of original documents.
