The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has released an official notification for Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. ITI pass candidates can apply online through the NAPS portal for one-year apprenticeship training in various trades.

  8. Surveyor

  10. Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV)
  11. Instrument Mechanic (IM)
  12. Gardner

(Some smaller cadre posts will be filled as per reservation rotation policy.)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade from a government-recognized Industrial Training Institute.

Eligible passing years:

  • 2023
  • 2024
  • 2025

For COPA trade, candidates with Marathi or English typing qualification will be given preference.

Age Limit

Age criteria will be as per Apprenticeship Act rules.

Stipend

Apprentices will receive stipend as per the latest Central Government apprenticeship rates.

Candidates may also be eligible for benefits under the MAPS scheme of the State Government.

  • Upload required documents
  • Ensure Aadhaar is linked with bank account (DBT enabled)

Important Conditions

  • Apprenticeship duration is strictly 1 year.
  • No permanent job claim after completion.
  • Candidates who already completed apprenticeship are not eligible.
  • Candidates currently working as apprentices elsewhere are not eligible.
  • Biometric attendance is mandatory.
  • No TA/DA will be provided.
  • Selection will be based on merit and reservation rules.
