 Educational Qualification

For Assistant Foreman (Electrical):

  • 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering (AICTE approved)

For Technician (Electrician):

 Age Limit (As on 28 May 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years (UR/EWS)

Age Relaxation:

  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: 10–15 years (depending on category)
  • Departmental Candidates: No upper age limit
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. norms

 Medical Fitness

  • Assistant Foreman can be promoted to T&S Grade B and higher posts.
  • Technician (Trainee) will be regularized as Electrician Cat-IV after 1-year successful training.
