The Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Yelahanka, Bengaluru, under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released an official notification (No. RWF/AT-16/627(2025-26), dated 28.02.2026) for Engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26.
Eligible ITI/NTC candidates can apply for 192 Apprentice vacancies across various trades. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking technical training in Indian Railways establishments.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
1️⃣ Age Limit (as on 01.03.2026)
Minimum Age: 15 Years
Maximum Age: 24 Years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 Years
OBC – 3 Years
As per Railway Board rules
2️⃣ Educational Qualification
Candidates must:
✔ Pass 10th Class/Matriculation with minimum 50% aggregate marks
✔ Possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT in relevant trade
❌ SCVT certificates will NOT be accepted
❌ Engineering Graduates/Diploma holders are NOT eligible
⏳ Training Period
1 Year: Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
6 Months: CNC Programming cum Operator (COE Group)
Training will follow standards prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council.
