Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division – Eastern Region, has released Advertisement No. IOCL/MKTG/ER/APPR/2025-26/1 dated 02 March 2026 for engagement of 150 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a great opportunity for ITI, Diploma and Graduate candidates to gain hands-on training experience in one of India’s largest PSU companies.

The apprenticeship training will be for 12 months, and selection will be purely on merit basis (no written exam or interview).

Apprentices will be engaged in the following states/UT:

  • Odisha

  • Nagaland

Technician Apprentice (Diploma) – Codes 101–106

Qualification:
3-year full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline

  • Minimum 50% marks (Gen/EWS/OBC-NCL)

  • 45% marks (SC/ST/PwBD)

Trade Apprentice (ITI) – Codes 107–111

  • Fitter

  • Electrician

  • Electronics Mechanic

  • Instrument Mechanic

  • Machinist

Qualification:
Matric (10th) + 2-year regular ITI course (NCVT/SCVT recognized)

Graduate Apprentice – Code 112

  • BA / B.Com / B.Sc / BBA

Qualification:
Full-time Graduation with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)

Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Code 113)

  • Fresher / Skill Certificate Holder

Qualification:
12th Pass (Below Graduate) with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved)

Age Limit (As on 28.02.2026)

  • Minimum: 18 Years

  • Maximum: 24 Years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST – 5 Years

  • OBC-NCL – 3 Years

  • PwBD – 10 Years (Additional relaxation as per category)

Important Eligibility Conditions

✔ Graduate/Diploma candidates must have passed between 01.04.2022 to 28.02.2026
✔ ITI/12th candidates must have passed between 01.04.2021 to 28.02.2026
✔ Higher qualification holders (B.E/B.Tech/MBA/MCA/CA etc.) are NOT eligible
✔ Only full-time regular courses are allowed
✔ Candidates can apply for only ONE discipline code

Selection Process

  • No Written Test

  • No Interview

  • Selection based on percentage of marks in qualifying exam

  • Document Verification

  • Pre-engagement Medical Examination

Final selection will be purely on merit list.

Stipend

Stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act rules and applicable government norms.

Step 3: Fill Microsoft Form

After applying on NATS/NAPS, candidates must submit the Microsoft Form (with location preference) before 09 March 2026 (5 PM).

Failure to submit the form will result in rejection.
