GRSE Apprentice Recruitment 2025 (APP:01/25) – Trade, Graduate & Technician Apprentices | Apply Online for 220 Vacancies

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a prestigious Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released Notification No. APP:01/25 for the Engagement of Apprentices for the year 2025–26.

GRSE invites ONLINE applications from eligible Indian candidates for 220 Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

  • Opening Date for Online Registration: 20 December 2025 (14:00 hrs)

  • Last Date to Apply Online: 10 January 2026 (23:59 hrs)

🔧 1. Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI) – 80 Posts

Trades & Placement

  • Fitter – Kolkata & Ranchi

  • Welder (Gas & Electric) – Kolkata & Ranchi

  • Electrician – Kolkata & Ranchi

  • Machinist – Kolkata & Ranchi

  • Pipe Fitter – Kolkata

  • Carpenter – Kolkata

  • Draughtsman (Mechanical) – Kolkata

  • PASAA / COPA – Kolkata

  • Electronic Mechanic – Kolkata

  • Painter (General) – Kolkata

  • Mechanic (Diesel) – Ranchi

  • Fitter (Structural) – Kolkata

  • Secretarial Assistant (English) – Kolkata

  • MMTM – Kolkata

  • ICTSM – Kolkata

  • Mechanic Refrigeration & AC – Kolkata

Qualification:
✔ ITI with NCVT National Trade Certificate (NTC)
✔ Passed All India Trade Test (AITT)

Training Duration: 12 Months
Age Limit: 14 to 25 years (Relaxation applicable)

🔨 2. Trade Apprentice (Fresher) – 40 Posts

  • Fitter

  • Welder (Gas & Electric)

  • Electrician

  • Pipe Fitter

  • Machinist

Qualification:
✔ Class 10th / Madhyamik pass
❌ ITI candidates not eligible

Training Location: Kolkata
Age Limit: 14 to 20 years

🎓 3. Graduate Apprentice – 40 Posts

Disciplines

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Computer Science & Information Technology

  • Civil Engineering

Qualification:
✔ Degree in Engineering / Technology
✔ Passed in 2023, 2024 or 2025

Training Duration: 12 Months
Training Location: Kolkata
Age Limit: 14 to 26 years

🛠 4. Technician Apprentice – 60 Posts

Disciplines

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

Qualification:
✔ Diploma in Engineering
✔ Passed in 2023, 2024 or 2025

Training Duration: 12 Months
Training Location: Kolkata & Ranchi
Age Limit: 14 to 26 years

  • Based on marks in qualifying examination
