No. HRAQ/CONT-WP-B/25-235 dated 24/10/2025) for the engagement of Contractual Drilling/Workover Operator and Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator posts. Eligible candidates who are domiciles of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh can appear directly for the Walk-in-Interview cum Personal Assessment scheduled to be held on 11th and 12th November 2025 at the Field Headquarters, Duliajan.

Essential Qualification OIL India Recruitment 2025

Contractual Drilling/Workover Operator

  • Class 10th + 3-Year Diploma in any Engineering discipline, OR
  • B.Sc. Degree in Science Stream, OR
  • Class 10th + ITI Certificate in Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician/Turner/Welder/Motor Mechanic/Machinist Trade.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years (for Diploma/B.Sc.) or 5 years (for ITI holders) post-qualification experience in Drilling/Workover operations.

Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator

  • Class 10th from Government recognized board.
  • Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician/Turner/Welder/Motor Mechanic/Machinist.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Drilling/Workover activities such as rig floor operations and tripping.

OIL India Recruitment 2025 Age Limit

Contractual Drilling/Workover Operator

  • Gen: Up to 45 years
  • OBC-NCL: Up to 48 years
  • SC: Up to 50 years

Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator

  • Gen: Up to 40 years
  • OBC-NCL: Up to 43 years
  • ST: Up to 45 years

Selection Process OIL India Recruitment 2025

The selection will be based on Walk-in-Interview cum Personal Assessment.

  1. Registration & Document Verification:
    • Candidates must report between 07:00 AM and 09:00 AM for verification of original documents.
  2. Personal Assessment:
    • Only eligible candidates after verification will be allowed to appear.
    • Candidates must secure minimum 50% marks to qualify.
  3. Final Merit List:
    • The final selection will be based purely on marks obtained in the personal assessment.
