Eastern Railway Recruitment Age Limit
The age limit for all posts is 18 to 30 years as of 01/01/2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules. OBC candidates get a 3-year relaxation, and SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit.

Essential Qualification Eastern Railway Recruitment
- For Both Posts: Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications.
- 12th or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks.
- OR
- 10th Grade plus ITI or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
- Additionally, a specific cultural qualification is mandatory:
- A Degree or Diploma certificate in the respective discipline (Classical Vocal or Dance) from a recognized university or institute is required.
Selection Process Eastern Railway Recruitment
- Written Test: A 60-minute objective type test for 50 marks. The qualifying mark is 40%.
- Assessment of Talent: This stage is for 50 marks.
- Practical Demonstration: 35 marks.
- Testimonials & Prizes: 15 marks.
- Document Verification: To verify all original documents.
- Medical Examination: A final medical fitness test.
