Essential Qualification GRSE Journeyman Recruitment
For all posts, a candidate must have passed Matriculation or 10th Grade and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade.
- Crane Operator: NAC/NTC in Electrician trade.
- Diesel Mechanic: NAC/NTC in Diesel Mechanic or related trades.
- Driver Material Handling: NAC/NTC in Diesel Mechanic with a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Electronic Mechanic: NAC/NTC in Electronic Mechanic trade.
- Electrician: NAC/NTC in Electrician trade.
- Fitter: NAC/NTC in Fitter, Weapon Fitter, or MMTM.
- Machinist: NAC/NTC in Machinist, Turner, or Machinist (Grinder).
- Machine Operator: NAC/NTC in Millwright Mechanic or MMTM.
- Pipe Fitter: NAC/NTC in Pipe Fitter or Plumbing trades.
- Rigger: NAC/NTC in Rigger or Carpenter trades.
- Structural Fitter: NAC/NTC in Structural Fitter or related trades.
GRSE Journeyman Recruitment Age Limit
The maximum age for applicants is 26 years as of 01/07/2025. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per government rules.
Salary details GRSE Journeyman Recruitment
Rs.24,000 to Rs.26,000/- monthly during training
Selection Process GRSE Journeyman Recruitment
- Written Test: A 100-mark objective test of 2 hours duration will be held. It will cover trade-specific subjects (80 marks) and general knowledge/aptitude (20 marks).
- Practical (Trade) Test: Candidates who pass the written test will be called for a qualifying trade test.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Required for Driver, Rigger, and Crane Operator posts. This test is qualifying in nature.
