Educational Qualification
Plant Operator
- 12th (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
- Minimum 40% aggregate
- English studied at SSC level
Other Trades (Electrician, Fitter, Electronics, etc.)
- 10th (SSC) with minimum 50% in Science & Mathematics individually
- 2-year ITI in relevant trade
- 1-year experience required if ITI duration is less than 2 years
- English at SSC level mandatory
Salary & Benefits
During Training (2 Years)
- 1st Year Stipend – ₹20,000/month
- 2nd Year Stipend – ₹22,000/month
- Book Allowance – ₹3,000 (One-time)
After Successful Training
- Post: Technician/B
- Pay Level: Level 03
- Basic Pay: ₹21,700
- DA (60%): ₹13,020
- Approx Monthly Salary: ₹34,720

Selection Process
The selection will be through Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in Tamil, Hindi & English.
Stage 1 – Preliminary Test
- 50 Questions (Maths, Science, General Awareness)
- Duration: 1 Hour
- 3 Marks for correct answer
- 1 Mark negative marking
Stage 2 – Advanced Test
- 50 Questions (Trade Related)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- 3 Marks per correct answer
- 1 Mark negative marking
Merit list will be prepared based on Stage 2 marks only.
Stage 3 – Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates (3x vacancies) will be called.
