Asstt. Loco Pilot and Technician job description:

West Central Railway (WCR) has rolled out the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, Junior Engineer, and Train Manager with 424 Vacancies. Aspirants who possess the 10th Pass, ITI Pass, Diploma, B.Sc in Engineering, and Degree are only eligible to apply for the WCR Recruitment 2023. Asstt. Loco Pilot and Technician Qualification & experience :

Asstt. Loco Pilot  : Matriculaton Pass Plus  (a ) Course Completed Act Apprentceship / ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT in the speciied trades,  OR (b) Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI.   Speciied trades for the purpose of (a) above are as follows: A) Fitter  B) Electrician  C) Instrument Mechanic  D) Mill Wright / Maintenance Mechanic  E) Mechanic (Radio and TV)  F) Electronics Mechanic  G) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)  H) Wireman  I) Tractor Mechanic  J) Armature & Coil Winder  K) Mechanic(Diesel)  L) Heat Engine  M Turner N) Machinist O) Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic.
Technician Grade - III (DSL/ Electrical)   : Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Mechanic Auto electrical and Electronics / Wireman / Electronics Mechanic / Mechanic Power Electronics    (OR)    Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above. 
Technician Grade- III (Signal)   : A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Wireman  (OR)  Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above  (OR)  B) 10+2 with Physics and Maths.
Technician Grade - III (Track Machine)  : Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Mechanic Mechatronis / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Welder / Machinist   (OR)   Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above. 
Technician Grade- III (Tele)   : A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Wireman  (OR)  Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above  (OR)   B) 10+2 with Physics and Maths 
Technician Grade- III (TRS)   : Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Wireman / Electronics Mechanic / Mechanic Power Electronics / Mechanic HT, LT Equipments and Cable Jointing / Fitter / Welder / Painter General / Machinist / Carpenter  (OR)  Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above. 

Asstt. Loco Pilot and Technician Selection Process :    

The Selection will be based on Computer Based Test, Document Verification/ Medical Examination, and Interview.
