Assistant Lineman/ Wireman and Line Helper job description:

Office of the Chief Electrical Engineer Electricity Department department under Government of  Goa recruiting Assistant Lineman/ Wireman and Line Helper in the month of November 2021.They are 334 Assistant Lineman/ Wireman and Line Helper Vacancy. The application can apply before 05/12/2021 .The minimum qualification required for the Assistant Lineman/ Wireman and Line Helper post is Certificate in Electrician/Wireman trade and the Selection will be based on Skill/ Aptitude/ written test.

Assistant Lineman/ Wireman and Line Helper Qualification & experience : 

Assistant Lineman/ Wireman : 1. (a) (i) A certificate in Electrician trade issued by an appropriate authority under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Government of India or under the State Council for Vocational Training, Government of Goa. (ii) One years experience in the Electrical field. Or 
 (b) (i) A Certificate in Wireman’s trade issued by an appropriate authority under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Government of India or under the State Council for Vocational Training Government of Goa. (ii) Two years experience in Electrical field. Or 
(c) (i) Vocational Proficiency Certificate in the trade of Electrician issued bythe Human Resource Development Foundation a Registered Society of Government of Goa. (ii) Three years experience in Electrical field. Or 
 (d) (i) A Certificate of successfully completing the training in “Electrician” / “Wireman” under the Scheme for Training of Rural Youth for Self Employment (TRYSEM) issued by the Rural Development Agency Government of Goa. (ii) Three years experience in Electrical field.
 2) Knowledge of Konkani Desirable:- Knowledge of Marathi
Line Helper  :  i) Experience in working on construction of Electrical lines for a minimum period of 2 years. ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable:- Knowledge of Marathi

Assistant Lineman/ Wireman and Line Helper Selection Process

The Selection will be based on Skill/ Aptitude/ written test.

Note : Interested and eligible candidates should fill the prescribed Application Form along with Declaration through online mode and submit only available at Portal https://cbes.goa.gov.in from 25 /11 /2021 to 05 / 12 /2021. No application shall be accepted/considered after the last date of application. No application shall be accepted in any other mode. 
Only the eligible candidate fulfilling the criteria as per Recruitment Rules/advertisement shall apply and the candidates need not furnish any document at the time of applying for the post. However candidate shall not be considered, if he/she is found ineligible at the time of verification of the essential documents, even though has passed the examination.
